The progress bar of the SHIFT Updater does not show any progress.
This can happen if you use a USB hub to connect the controller to your computer or use a low-quality USB cable. We recommend you connect directly to the USB port of your computer or use the original USB cable provided with the product.
If the problem persists, please contact the nearest service center for further inspection.
I accidentally removed the USB cable while the update was in progress.
Simply perform the update process again.
Please note, if the update is not finished properly, a beep will sound and the controller will not power on as you attempt to turn it on. Please make sure to complete the update before disconnecting.
Cannot proceed to the “Update Ready” page even after connecting the controller.
Before connecting the controller to the computer, make sure the controller is turned off, and the Jog Button is pressed and completely held down. You should hear a noticeable “click,” when the Jog Button is pressed all the way down.
If the problem persists even after doing the above steps, make sure the USB cable is connected correctly. Also, check to see if there are any foreign objects stuck in the USB terminal of the controller. Make sure the USB cable is working properly for a successful connection to the computer.
Try using a different USB Type-C cable. The cable may seem perfectly functional on the outside but, there may be internal breakages.
If the problem still persists, please contact the nearest service center for further inspection.
In the driver installation window, I accidentally clicked “No”.
To install the driver, simply exit and relaunch the SHIFT Updater.
