What are the dimensions and diagonal size of the SHIFT RED?

The dimensions for the SHIFT RED is 115 x 115 x 59 mm (W x D x H) without the propellers. The diagonal length is 163 mm.

How heavy is the SHIFT RED drone?

The SHIFT drone weighs 93 grams with the battery and propellers installed (excluding the propeller guards).

How often should I replace propellers?

If the propeller is scratched, bent, or damaged, we recommend you replace it right away as even a minor damage on the propeller may negatively affect the flight controllability

How long does it take to fully charge a battery?

To fully charge the controller, it takes approximately 60 minutes with a standard USB-C type charger. A certified USB adapter rated at 5V and 1.5A is recommended for charging. Charging through the USB port of a PC or laptop may not properly charge the device.

What is the charging temperature range of the battery?

SHIFT recommends charging your drone within 0℃ to 40℃.

What is the maximum flying distance?

The maximum flying distance of the SHIFT RED is 300 meters. For live video streaming, the maximum distance is 100 meters.

How many cameras does the SHIFT RED drone have?

The SHIFT RED has two cameras in total: one on the front and another on the bottom. The camera on the front is called the Vision Camera and is responsible for taking photos and videos. The Vision Camera is equipped with our Virtual Gimbal software which, reduces blur and enhances image stabilization. The camera on the bottom is mainly for 3D positioning and is not intended for capturing images or videos.

What is the Virtual Gimbal?

The Virtual Gimbal is our image stabilization software, which reduces blur by compensating for pan and tilt motions.
